I wanted to ask if anybody has recommendations for makeup that I can get from the drugstore or a chain store like Wal-mart. I'm particularly interested in eyeliners, eyeshadows, and lipstick.

Okay i have the lipstick for yooouu!!!! The Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink lipstick! It is my all time favorite, it's sooo fucking pigmented and it lasts FOREVER! I can eat three meals a day with drinks and maybe have to touch it up once. It comes in a lot of different shades, but my favorite is #50 Voyager. It's like this dark red color it's so pretty! And the best part? THEY HAVE A BLACK!! My store doesn't carry the black so you'd have to get it online, it's a few more dollars that way but it is WORTH IT!

These are what has worked for me, I´m from Europe but I think all of these should be available in most places.
Eyeliner - essence Liquid Ink eyeliner, the waterproof one - I´ve been using it for years, it´s cheap, doesn´t smudge and you can do some cool detalis with it. It is a brush tip that you dip into the product, which not everyone likes tho.
- NYX Epic Ink - never used it but I always see it recommended for pen eyeliners
- Relove Revolution Dip In eyeliner in white - probs the best drugstore white eyeliner, especially for the price. The applicator is not my fav but you can do cool white details. It´s extremely hard to wash off tho.
Eyeshadow - Makeup Revolution and its million sub-brands make some relly good eyeshadow palettes, but they can be really hit-or-miss. I recommend the Forever Flawless line, the big Chocholate palettes (not the small ones-those suck), and the Reloaded line.
- Catrice and essence - both brands make good quality eyeshadow singles, but the palettes are not as good.
- I recommend getting a good eyeshadow primer - NYX Proof it! is great if you can still find it, essence Prime like a boss is also fine, J.Cat I heard makes a really good one
Lipstick - Maybelline Superstay - both the liquid and crayon one - these stay on really well
- NYX Lingerie XXL - my fav, stay on great
- NYX Soft matte lip cream - these are neat if you just want a darker lip tint
- J. Cat Lipfinity - stay on grat and are cheap, but they have been discontinued - only some webistes still have them
- Milani Amore Matte - another fav, stay on well
- Black lipsticks I recommend - Milani Amore Matt in Wicked/50, J.Cat Lipfinity in Wild Limo Rides/24, NYX Lingerie XXL in Naughty Noir/31, NYX Suede or Liquid Suede in Alien
Hope it helps somehow lol

NYX Jumbo white pencil is absolutely awesme for all white details in eyeshadow, eyebrows, using it as highligther or concealer!! i also use Palladio's rice powder to give myself a more polished look bcs i dont really use foundation... LA Girl has a pretty good and cheap white foundation mixer which is absolutely great if you want to do a white face'd makeup style as a beginner. Im not too familiar with American brands tho, as i am from Latin America, but here we have a brand, Bissu, which is so cheap and *so* amazing. maybe it can be ordered online? i use their pencils, lipsticks, eyeshadows, setting powder, and stuff Also walmart lipglosses are pretty cool
